                    Department of Neurology offers specialized treatment for all neurological disorders with a team of experienced expert neurologists and neurosurgeons. The conditions treated are stroke, epilepsy, headache, vertigo, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, cognitive and behavioral disorders, immune-mediated neurological disorders, CNS infection, and so on. Emergency neurology cases and critically ill patients are treated effectively with a team of neurologists, emergency care physicians, and intensivists.

Stroke Care

                     The Neurology Department provides state of the art facility for patients admitted with stroke. The stroke team is available for 24*7 hours for immediate management of acute stroke. IV thrombolysis (drug therapy to dissolve the clot in the brain blood vessels) is performed for eligible patients with ischemic stroke of less than 4.5 hours of onset. The stroke care provided by our Neurology Department is of world standard and updated according to scientific growth in stroke. Regular auditing is performed in the department to assess the timely management of stroke. The Neurology Department also conducts regular stroke awareness programs to create awareness among people.
